Registration Requirements

Delegates will also be required to consent to adhere to the precautions and policies set to safeguard the health of delegates and reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 at the AmCham Business Summit.

Further, all in-person delegates will be required to indicate that they are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, by attending this event.

COVID-19 Measures & Duty Of Care

AmCham Kenya is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all AmCham Business Summit in-person delegates. Our decisions and preventive measures will be guided by the requirements and recommendations of the Kenya Ministry of Health to safeguard the health of delegates and reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus at our Business Summit. Preventive measures include:

Mandatory proof of vaccination for all in-person delegates (All WHO approved vaccines will be recognized for the purpose of in-person attendance).

Enhanced sanitization of meeting and exhibit spaces

Masking and social distancing at all times.

Hand sanitizing stations throughout the meeting and exhibit spaces

The responsibility for a safe and healthy event environment (Duty of Care) is shared among the event organizer, venue and every delegate. All AmCham Business Summit delegates are expected to adhere to and abide by the safety precautions implemented to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

As part of your Duty of Care responsibilities, you should not attend the AmCham Business Summit if you:

  • are experiencing, or within the 10 days prior, have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
  • believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.
  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for your treatment.
  • Conference attendees should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and are asked to contact AmCham Kenya at summit@amcham.co.ke if they experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 10 days after the AmCham Business Summit. Should any positive cases be reported within the 10 day time-frame, AmCham Kenya will communicate this information to all registered participants. Any private health or personal data received by AmCham Kenya will be treated as confidential.

Please note that by checking the box during the online registration process, you agree to adhere to the precautions and policies above and understand that you are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, by attending this event. You understand that refusal to adhere to these policies and abide by these precautions may result in immediate removal from the event and cancellation of the registration, without receiving a refund.
