The 4th edition of the AmCham Business Summit themed “Catalyzing The Future of U.S. – East Africa Trade and Investment,” happened April 24-25, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya. This year the Summit focused on providing a platform for direct business-to-business engagement; enabling partnerships to develop and transactions to take place to expand markets and catalyze business growth; the key to job creation and economic prosperity. The Summit featured plenary sessions, sector forums on manufacturing, infrastructure, agriculture, health, digital economy and technology, energy, workforce development, and creative economy as well as business-to-business networking sessions and business-to-government meetings and forums.
The AmCham Business Summit, first held in 2018, is a strategic advocacy and commercial partnership platform developed to strengthen two-way trade and investment between the U.S. and the East Africa region.
The Summit gives delegates the opportunity to discuss and advocate for critical big-picture issues of the day, advance new opportunities for business, and enables connections to key government and industry leaders, resources, and markets that businesses need to succeed.
